SAIA Motor Freight Lines first started serving customers in 1924, carrying produce in Louisiana in the back of a family car with the rear seats removed. Today, SAIA operates 169 terminals and employs more than 10,000 people. It can move LTL shipments throughout all 50 states, plus Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico.
