Account Country
When you sign up for a ShipStation API account, you are prompted to select the country from which you will be shipping from the dropdown list.

For the countries in this list, ShipStation API includes carriers by default so you can start shipping with their services right away (we call these ShipStation Carriers). However, with ShipStation API, you can ship from any country that has a supported carrier integration.
Things to note about your ShipStation API account country:
- The country you select at signup determines which ShipStation Carriers are available to your account and the currency you will be billed in.
- You can connect any carrier supported by ShipStation API and create warehouse locations in any country, no matter which account country you select at signup.
- You can ship to any country supported by the carriers you ship with.
- The account country does not impact the credit card you may use to sign up. Your credit card billing address can be in a different country than the account country.
- The ShipStation API sandbox environment is available for any account country.
